1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

2. Overview
This website provides information about our services. We do not use cookies, advertising or social media plugins, or contact forms. Fonts and images are delivered from our own server; no data is transmitted to providers such as Google when you visit the website. Only if you give your consent do we collect anonymous usage statistics with the analytics tool Umami (see section 5).
We only process personal data to the extent required for the technical operation of the website and for responding to your enquiries.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external service provider (hosting provider) that processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you access the website, the server automatically records the following information transmitted by your browser:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file accessed and amount of data transferred
- status code of the request
- browser type and version and operating system
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
This data is processed to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. Log data is deleted after no more than 14 days unless it is needed for longer to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries. We delete your data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law, up to ten years) apply.
5. Web analytics with Umami
With your consent, we use the open-source software Umami to evaluate the use of this website statistically and to improve it. Umami runs on a server operated by Blickwerk Media UG, which processes the data on our behalf (data processing under Art. 28 GDPR). The data is not passed on to third parties.
Umami does not set any cookies and does not store IP addresses. In particular, the following is recorded:
- pages visited and time of access
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- browser, operating system and device type
- screen size and language
- country, derived from the IP address (the IP address itself is not stored)
To count visits, Umami creates a non-reversible identifier from the IP address, browser data and a regularly changing random value. This makes it impossible to link the data to you personally or to recognise you over longer periods.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Umami is not loaded without your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Privacy settings” link in the footer.
6. Storage of your privacy settings
We store your consent decision in your browser’s local storage so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. No data is transmitted to us in the process. This storage is strictly necessary to provide this function (Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.
7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
8. Disclosure of data
Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your enquiry or an assignment, we are legally obliged to do so, or you have given your consent. Our hosting provider and – if you have given your consent – Blickwerk Media UG as operator of the analytics software process data exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
9. Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable law, you have the right at any time to:
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- withdraw any consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.
10. Right to object
Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
11. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und InformationsfreiheitGustav-Stresemann-Ring 165189 Wiesbaden, Germany
12. Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy whenever changes to the website or the legal situation require it. The version published on this page applies.
